LG G6 Have a Pie Update recently. I am so excited and update my Phone quickly. M G6 was on Nougat and need to update to Oreo before able install PIE.
I am using LG Bridge and using Upgrade option. It need to Download Update twice which is about 3 GBs each.. I Just follow instruction and next next next.
My G6 Updated to Oreo, then i proceed to next update to Pie. its about 30 minutes (depending on your internet connection speed) before LG Bridge Finished it task.
It restart my G6 then i check in phone setting said my G6 updated to PIE.. yeeaaaahhh
BUT
after few hours, my phone getting warm even when i do nothing. it bit strange, so i choose to reset cache then restart my phone. after i reset, still nothing changed. my phone still getting warmer like something working hard in background.
i no longer care this point as i think my G6 still synchronizing it system with my cloud account (email, drive, etc). i installing a game (Mobile legends) and play it.. guess what?? it stuttering so much. Frame drop always occurs even i use lowest setting in both ingame option and on G6 system feature.
more problem is My G6 suddenly freeze and restart it self.. its not once or twice, but it happened alot. i tried ask in forums specialized on android (XDA, FB, etc) and not seem a good response.
Keep tryin and fail any advice make me felt stupid. so i decided to check any possible situation in this phone setting.
for Now, at least i got solution for my problem. If you encounter the same problem, please follow my step
1. enable developer option. (should i explain how?) : Setting->System -> about phone -> software info then hit Build number several time until it say "you now a developer"
2. open Developer options in setting then scroll until you see Webview Implementation. By Default, android will use Chrome since android Nougat. Android System WebView disabled.
3. Now open Setting - Apps and Notification -> App Info then open Chrome. When it Enabled, make it disabled.
Now Back to developer Options. and see Webview Implementations value. Android System WebView will enabled as default.
----------------
I dont think this is necasarry but you may need to restart your phone now.
i Have a hidden step which is not too important, but if you still suffer reboot problem, please comment, i will explain that HIDDEN Step. only if needed.
